This is part of a children book project about the Amazon forest. The purpose is to spark kids curiosity about the diversity of life that exists in this biome through beautiful and colorful illustrations and small educative texts.
Esse projeto é parte de uma ideia de livro infantil sobre a floresta amazônica. O objetivo é despertar a curiosidade das crianças a respeito da diversidade de vida que existe nesse bioma através de ilustrações bonitas e coloridas e pequenos textos educativos.

Although the illustration was digitally drawn, it presents a texture similar to a colored pencil which brings organicity and life to the work and dialogues with the book's subject.
Embora a ilustração tenha sido desenhada digitalmente, ela apresenta uma textura similar a de lápis de cor, o que traz organicidade e vida para o trabalho e dialoga com a temática do livro.
Down below is the initial sketch. As you can see, along the way some changes were made but the main idea remained.
